Merged activities - quiz and workbook lesson

So, when a quiz is due for my children they still have a workbook lesson on the same day. I merged them so that they are on the same sequence number (same day), but I'm wondering how that will work with grading since one is a quiz and the other is a workbook. When I go to put the grades in will it automatically separate them out? Thanks!

If you have 2 graded activities, you can record the grade separately "after the fact" meaning once the day has passed, the system will accept multiple activities with the same completion date.
