Progress Reports instead of Report Cards

I was wondering, if it's possible in the future, to provide the ability for quarterly progress reports and/or end of year assessments, in addition to report cards. For some, quarterly progress reports and just a general end of year assessment (particularly for the younger grades) are more helpful than the report cards.

This probably doesn't reflect the majority, but was thinking that many keep attendance, for example, separately, so having it on a report card, isn't really helpful and having the ability to show, for each subject, say, at the end of the quarter or year, an assessment that can be filled in and then be filed, if needed is just as helpful.

Lol...anyway just an idea to throw out.
