user-friendliness and more one-stop input

Hi

I was very happy to find this site after having used a free downloadable program only to have my computer crash and lose half a year's info. My new computer won't even install the updated version of that program.

I'm working through things on this site and have been able to figure things out for the most part. However, by comparison, the other program was more user-friendly than this has been.

I'd love to open up to a calendar page where I could just click on ANY day, see and EDIT any of the listings (past, present, or future) just by clicking on it, record/calculate the grade for that activity, and mark completed - all on one page. I'd like to be able to view a list the day's activities of all of my enrolled students (or view them separately) and just go down the list at the end of the day, clicking complete and entering grades as I went. I feel like I'm having to go to several different places and jump through many hoops to accomplish these things.

I know that you are working things out and improving things, so that's just my 2 cents. I've had to spend some time as the videos and Q&A haven't addressed some of my particular questions. With 4 kids and a night job, I need more efficiency in my day.

I agree...this program is pretty confusing. Although I am happy to have found a free online program and applaud you for having made this available to us homeschool moms, I do wish that it was easier to set up. I have 5 kids and it would be nice to be able to see a weekly schedule for each child, Or be able to print out their schedules for the week!

I would love to recommend this site to more of my homeschool friends but I am not sure if I would feel totally comfortable yet because it is confusing even to me.
