Won't let me delete course

Hi! Brand new around here...

I'm trying to get everything set up. When I entered all my courses, I didn't realize that I should only create the courses for the child whose name was selected (I thought it was like Homeschool Tracker, where you create everything first and then assign it to students). So, I have *all* the courses for both kids under one child's name. When I go to delete the courses that aren't hers, I get an error message saying that I have Activities scheduled that need to be removed first. I haven't added any activities to anything yet. I went into the Activities tab, and deleted the two dummy activities that were there, but still no luck.

I'm getting frustrated! Can anyone tell me how to get around this? Or can I move the Courses to another student somehow?

Yes, to delete a course, there has to be no activities associated with it. What you did was correct, probably, you forgot to save? Once all the activities for a course is deleted, immediately go to Courses and delete the said course.

Thanks! That worked. For some reason when I did all the Activity deleting first, then tried to do all the Course deleting, it didn't work. When I deleted the activity and went right to the course and deleted it, it worked. Go figure.
