editing grading scale

How can you edit a grading scale in a current course. I need to change it from not graded to pass/fail.

Go to Courses - Edit Course. From the Grading Scale drop down, change Not Graded to Pass/Fail. Then go to the Activities for this course - Edit Activities and choose at least 1 graded activity for each term. Meaning, for Activity type, choose a graded type (like Test, Quiz, etc) not 'Regular'. Then go back to Course - Edit Course and put the corresponding weights - for each activity type. If you chose only 1 type of graded activity (like Quiz for example), put 100% on the quiz grading weight. This steps will ensure that this course will appear on the Report Card.
