Separate Grades for Activities on Same Day Same Course

I want to assign more than one workbook page in a subject per day. I want to record separate grades for each workbook page. How can I do this? Thanks!

Currently, we do not support this. We are still evaluating the best way to approach this. As a work around, you can combine the grades for the two workbooks and record only one grade for the day and put a remark that the grade is for two workbooks.

Saving separate grades for activities on same day same course is now supported. Our FAQ has been updated; see below:

4. How can I enter multiple tests/quizzes on a single day?
Insert activities (graded type like Test, Quiz, etc.) at Activities - Edit Activities page. Assign the same completion dates for the tests. Note that you can only assign the same completion dates for activities that are prior to current date.

Am I understanding this correctly? I can't actually assign more than one activity per day, per course, but I can go in after the fact and list them as completed on the same day and give separate grades for each activity?

Is there a work-around that anyone knows of?

I need to assign science reading, short answer questions, and Labs to my son. They often all fall on one day but each is weighted separately in grading and so I really can't just combine the grades for one day/ make it one assignment.

I need to be able to schedule it all and have it show up on his "today" or a printed assignment sheet so waiting until after the fact to date it doesn't really help since he wouldn't know he needed to do the assignment.

Any ideas????

Only thing I can think of is set up a separate course for Science labs. Or put them all in as one assignment and then go back when you go to put in the grades and separate them. Sorry I can't be much more help!

June, If I can separate the assignments when I enter grades that would work. I had considered separating each type of assignment into different courses and just adding blank assignments on those days where there was no lab to keep the schedule accurate. I am not sure how grading would work for that though if there were a bunch of zeros it would bring down the grade artificially.

If you have the lab as a separate course, and if you have labs every Monday for example, you can schedule your lab course only on Mondays (check only M) and this will come up every Monday only.
