Problem with Firefox

Postby momof5littlewomen on Wed Apr 22, 2009 10:20 pm

I am having a problem with the reports in Firefox. When I go to generate a report, it asks me to save a file with the ending .do I can generate the reports in Safari just fine. I have Javascript enabled and made an exception to allow pop-up windows for the site. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

We've just tried it with Firefox 3.0.8 and it works fine. It must be some configuration in Firefox. When it prompts to save the file, does it have the option to open it instead? Normally the prompt to save a file comes with an option to open it plus a checkbox to remember your selection.

Thanks,

I have Firefox 3.0.10 No, there is not an option to open the file. It opens up the box that shows my computer files and wants me to indicate where to save it. I am on a Mac if that might make any difference. Thank you! We are enjoying figuring out how to use your program and giving it a true test run as we get back into full schooling after a long spring break.

We've just found a plugin for Mac Firefox that can display PDF without the prompt.

Check this link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7518 .
