Import/Download

Hello, all! What, exactly am I importing and downloading? Again, since I'm using the computer at the Coast Guard Guesthouse here in Kodiak, AK, until the closing on our new house, I'm blocked from using the video tutorials, and the user manual didn't help me understand this.

If I create an excel spreadsheet with a list of all the reading assignments, would I then be able to import them to skedtrack?

I'm guessing with downloading, that means I'm taking the book list, or whatever, and downloading them into a spreadsheet?

The Courses Download is used when you want to download your courses with activities for backup purposes. The Courses Import-From World is used when you want to use a course with activities shared by other homeschoolers. If you have a spreadsheet you can export it as csv and upload it through Activities->Edit Activities -> Insert File, this will take you the the Activites - Upload Activities page (make sure that you follow the correct format indicated on the page).
