Grading when a course has been completed

I was wondering if there is a way that we can grade a course when it's complete (show it as mastered), rather than grading it, individually by lesson plan.

I was wondering because I use more of a mastery grading (mastered the course or not) and didn't know if I had to assign a grade individual or if I do pass and fail, can I wait till a course is completed to do so.

Lol, I don't give tests right now so just not sure how to show that the course has been completed...

Maybe you can choose a graded activity for example "Oral Test" or simply "Other" and explain on the description what it is - you could put practical test for mastery of subject matter and then give a grade. Grading comes in terms, once the term is completed, then you can put the grade. Putting an automated final grade for a course that is mastered is not available. Probably, you can tweak the system, put one graded activity "Other" for each term and put a passing grade.
