How to Use Tests Tab??

I have several tests scheduled under Activities, but "Nothing to display" comes up when I go under Tests tab. How do I record and access test scores?
The manual isn't clear on this.

Only tests with completion date will appear on the Tests tab. You can also access the completed tests on Reports - Courses That Need Test Input page. Click on the number link to access the tests.
