Field Work = Test?

Postby CindyK on Sat Aug 02, 2008 9:05 pm

I added an Activity to a Course that was designated as Field Work, and it thinks that I need a score for it and shows up under Tests as needing this. Is this right? Why would Field Work be considered a Test?

Thanks!

The system is designed in such a way that anything not graded is of type Regular and if the activity is a field work that is not graded, just describe it in the description field.

Graded Field Work is something a student would do outside the home. Example would be doing a Science Investigation like investigating the water cycle, classifying different kinds of leaves, examining creatures found in topsoil/subsoil, etc. and needs to make an activity report about it. Another example of Graded Field Work would be interviewing people about a topic and the student makes a report on it.
