backdating completed tasks

Postby tj9900 on Thu Apr 25, 2013 2:11 pm

First of all, let me just say that I love Skedtrack and think it's the best program out there for functionality. I have a two suggestions for improvements:

(1) Between my kids' evening activities and my part-time work schedule, I often don't get around to updating their completed lessons until the next school day. This means that I have to go into each separate course's activity list and edit an activity to add the date completed, which becomes pretty time consuming. It would be a real time-saver if I could just click on yesterday's date on the calendar and check off/edit completed activities in the same format as when I am doing it on the current day.

(2) I would gladly pay a reasonable annual fee ($10-$20) if it allowed me access to a speedier server without ads and offered some customization in the look/feel of the site and reports.

Thanks for Skedtrack and for your consideration of my suggestions.

(1) Every morning, you (or you can ask your child) to click Save on Today-Daily page - this will "freeze" the page so that even if you get to check off and approve activities the next day (or Monday if school day was a Friday) the Today-Daily page your child worked on would still be on there. It only goes to the next day once you hit Approve. On current day, you can freeze the page anytime until 11:59PM.

(2) We do get some users who wants an ad free version of Homeschool Skedtrack. As of now, this is what we have. It is still indefinite when we will have the ad free version.
