Predict Dates Limit?

Postby flowerfish on Sat Jul 31, 2010 10:51 pm

I entered 100 activities for one subject, predicted dates, and it showed them all 1-100. I then changed the class schedule from 4 to 3 days a week. The predict dates function would then list only 1-89, though the activities are still listed elsewhere. I've searched the forums, but haven't found anyone with the same problem. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

I'm a first time user too, but from what I've discovered setting up for this fall it sounds like you ran out of school year so it has scrolled off. You might try changing your end date. It will also cut your school year short if you have met your required hours, so you could try to increase that as well. Personally I wish it wouldn't do that; I would rather see that I've gone over in hours and met the states minium requirement.

You were right. I'm still confused though, as the school year is set to from 8/23-6-3 and it shows completion of the subject predicted in April. I had to set the school year to 203 days (the max) to get them all to show up. I must be missing something! Thanks for your help.

The end of school year end date is based on (1) no of school days with default 180 but can be edited to desired number and (2) the number of hours per day set on the Admin-Enrollments-Edit page, per child. For example: if you have set #(1) to 180 and #(2) to 4 hours per day but you homeschool (or scheduled your homeschool hours) for MORE than 4 hours per day, the extra hours add up, and when the extra hours reach 4 hours, it counts as one day and the school year is cut short. If you do not want this to happen, you can either increase the hours per day set on Admin-Enrollments-Edit page (this is the better option) or increase the number of school days. Note that when the 180days X 4 hours is reached, the school year is done, so 4 hrs per day needs to be increased.
