input of year's worth of assignments

Is there a way to input a year's worth of assignments (i.e. one chapter taking 5 days - 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D, Ch.1 test) without having to go through the "add activities" by clicking on new, inputing the activity, clicking save, and starting all over again with the next 1B, then again with 1C. I'm wondering if it would be possible to simply make a list of the assignments and have the program plug them into the dates? Then one could go back and edit the days that needed something different such as a test, etc. I'm really enjoying the program and find it is working for us pretty well.
