Extra Credit

I sometimes offer an extra optional assignment/question that would give the student extra points for the subject grade. How should I enter this so that the additional points are applied? The program will not allow me to enter anything above 100%

That's true, the program won't allow it.

Since the main purpose of giving extra credit is for the student to earn points to compensate a lower grade, maybe you could add the extra points to a grade less than 100 and note on the comments that extra credit earned from Test #n - just a suggestion.
